01

Basics of Sailing

The crew here will give a crash course on the basics of sailing. We will discuss everything from the parts of a vessel and their functions, to points of sail and so much more. Sailing involves constantly learning for the most part but after a few hours with us, one should have a good understanding of the basics.

03

Weighing Anchor! (Sailing)

During this station participants will receive a hands-on experience at being a member of the crew! Some time on the water to trim sails, adjust sheets, and steering the vessel while at the helm.

02

Chart reading, Knot tying &                        Craft

Navigating the waterways calls for being able to read a chart so we will teach participants some basics, and learning certain knots is a must for any sailor. A crew member will demonstrate how to tie some common boating knots for participants to learn and try themselves. Also, during this station participants will make something to take home!

04

Water Activities

For those that may not want to go out for a sail, we will have other activities such as kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, and swimming!
