Our call to serve

Being a ministry that involves the sport of sailing, of course our story began with a boat!  An individual finding a small daysailer in the woods ignited an interest in sailing which quickly led to their desire of exploring a creative way to learn and connect more with their faith; leading to the birth of Graceful Winds Sail! Through the generosity of others, the ministry was able to acquire a few boats and from there the crew got to work! Scripture revealing to us the call to serve others, our aim is to use lessons from being on and around the water to assist individuals with learning how to set goals and plan, teach healthy ways to handle adversity, and provide resources and a helping hand to anyone that may have fallen off course. In particular, the area of mental health being a primary focus. Our vision is to establish and maintain a community open to and here to serve all. A community that one can receive guidance, become equipped, and if desired, remain anchored into!
